  • Artist’s Statement

    Piano Bones is a body of work created from parts of deconstructed pianos. Over a span of fifteen years, Perry Olds has been collecting found objects and incorporating them into works of art. He found the progression from scraps and pieces of material to the utilization of piano parts has been greatly inspirational and satisfying.

  • Biography

    A Michigan native, Perry Olds began a career in engineering which relocated him to Indiana. Upon retiring, Olds directed his passion to creating art. His works include painting, print work, rubbings, moldings, photography and assemblages. His art has garnered awards and been featured in galleries, exhibitions and on various media in Michigan and Indiana.

    His recent body of work titled “Piano Bones”, was created in Madison County, where Olds resides.
