  • Artist’s Statement

I approach my work in as scientific process as possible while cycling through a more emotive record concerning the subject matter. The aesthetic of my work is in between a state of strict representational subject matter and a deconstruction of those rules.  I am instilling a vision through my work that comments on a global scale, and certain philosophical topics that pertain to being timeless while preserving the craft of the ‘Old Master’ painting techniques.

I find essential to show the dichotomy between both modes of thinking and creating. The work hovers in a hauntingly real realm while projecting into a Symbolists view that allows for dynamic interplay between subjects and ideas. With every piece I aim to show truth in humanity while preserving the dignity of our time.
